Perkins+Will Vancouver Living Wall

When Perkins & Will relocated their Vancouver studio to a space 40% smaller than their previous one, they embraced the opportunity to reimagine the workplace with a focus on sustainability and user experience. At the heart of this vision is a lush living wall, designed to bring biophilic design into the space and promote a healthier work environment.

To support its growth, they partnered with Green over Grey™ Living Walls and Design Canada, who specified Kessil LED fixtures for their optimized spectrum and low environmental impact.

One year later, the living wall continues to flourish under Kessil lighting. In 2025, the studio was recognized for its sustainable and forward-thinking design with several honors, including the Commitment to Circularity Award at the 2025 CLC BC Embodied Carbon Awards, the Interior Design Award at the 2025 SABMag Summer Awards, and a place on Canada’s Greenest Employers 2025 list.
