August 08, 2011

Richmond, CA - Kessil Lighting, a business unit of DiCon Lighting, is proud to announce its first aquarium wholesale distributor in the United States—VASCA Aquarium Supply. Based in Arizona, VASCA Aquarium Supply is a distributor of over 3,000 aquarium products from 65+ manufacturers. It will be the first to carry Kessil's full line of aquarium lighting products and accessories, including the full spectrum of A150W lights.

"Kessil is honored to partner with VASCA to distribute our products nationwide,"said Brian Chiang, Managing Director of Sales and Marketing. "Although we've received a number of requests for representation, VASCA's team is superb and is as enthusiastic about our LED lights as we are. We are excited to grow our business together."

Powered by Dense Matrix LED technology, Kessil creates high intensity, spectrum-specific lighting that is designed to help coral growth and create an iridescent shimmering effect that brings out the beauty of water and the vivid colors of coral. Its first aquarium light, A150W, is designed for saltwater aquariums and is available in Deep Ocean Blue (Actinic Special Blend), Ocean Blue (15000K), and Sky Blue (10000K).
Following its incredibly successful launch in the aquarium industry, Kessil Lighting has ramped up its production capacity to keep up with growing demand. Retailers who are interested in carrying Kessil products, please contact Vasca.

About Kessil ®

Kessil Lighting designs and manufactures innovative LED lighting products for the horticulture and aquarium industries. Kessil is a business division of DiCon Fiberoptics, Inc., a leading 25-year-old technology company in the photonics industry. Using DiCon's patented high power Dense Matrix LED™ platform, Kessil's products produce a powerful, penetrating stream of light. Each LED chip emits only one wavelength, allowing various spectrums to be created by grouping different types of LED chips together. As a result, Kessil can populate chips with specific wavelengths onto DiCon's array. For this purpose, Kessil's research team continues to rigorously search for different spectrum recipes to enhance plant and coral growth. With this constant quest for the best spectrums, Kessil is leading The Spectral Revolution ®.
